About Target PH

Targeted nutrition and psychology support from Dr Liz Mahon and Dr Amy Whitehead to optimise your performance and health.

Liz has a PhD in Nutrition and is a Registered Nutritionist with specialisms in sport and public health. For over a decade she has worked as an academic and practitioner in these fields and has a passion for improving the health and fitness of the general population, as well as supporting athletes and teams.

Amy is a Sport and Exercise Psychologist accredited through the British Psychological Society, and a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) accredited Practitioner Psychologist. Amy also works as an Associate Professor in Sport Psychology and Coaching and has a PhD in Sport Psychology.

Due to our careers in academia and research we are passionate about evidence-based practice. Underpinning a lot of our work is the understanding of multiple disciplines and how they often interlink. This is why we have come together to provide complementary services to support our clients. We also work with other companies such as Health and Performance 3, where Head Coach Tim Pigott offers endurance coaching, physiotherapy and bike fitting.
